It's amazing how many shipping departments I visit and find clutter and chaos. Dis-organized confusion!

If your packers have to walk to get a box, step away to get an order, if they are losing their tape gun, pens, knives, etc, maybe it's time to consider a real shipping bench. Organization and placement are key.

Have multiple shippers? Are they stepping over each other, using the same computer? Even at $8 an hour that can be expensive.

If you are interested in some more ideas, send an email. Advise how many packers, if you use conveyors, number of different size cartons, and if possible include a picture of your current set up. I will suggest methods to help move you to the next step.
